About Us!

To be silly is to be joyful. To square something is to multiply it. Here at Silly Squared, we believe in spreading joy through sharing art in the form of stickers.

Every semester, we host a sticker design competition that all WashU students are welcome to enter.

Our talented curation team then comes together to assess each piece during a long and meticulous curation process. Their votes ultimately reveal ten finalists.

These ten finalists go on to have their work printed and distributed for free on a weekly basis to the entire WashU community. They are also made available for purchase online, and a portion of those proceeds is given back to the artist.

These artists also become members of the S2 Society, a network of incredible creatives who have been previously featured by our organization.

Out of the ten finalists, the artist whose piece receives the highest praise from our curation team is gifted an additional cash prize.
